How tall is josh marks
People always say that the one who gone will be forgotten , nobody remembers them after their dead. But I thought that you are always think about Josh and…. What a guy.
If memory serves me correctly, he got bounced off the show for an egg, and cooked his way back on with a fruit tart. And then ended up in the final against you. The news that he had ended his life was a bit of information that just produced an "Oh, no. Just horrible. I follow you on Facebook, and I'm thrilled to see your career progressing the way it has.
You are an inspiration. Keep pressing forward, especially in keeping Josh's memory alive. What a beautiful post to honor your friend. I couldn't believe it myself when I found out. He always looked to be so positive and wonderful. Just goes to show you never know what even the most outwardly happy people are going through.
May you find peace in that at least now he is at peace. So true. That's what I always try to remind myself when I come across angry or rude people: that maybe they're having a very bad day of which I have no clue. I admit it's really hard to do, but I try. Oh Christine, this is truly touching! I was really shocked when I heard the news, too!
You and Josh are both my favorite in that Masterchef season and thankfully you're so close to him. No one wants to lose their friends at all. Hopefully Josh will always be recalled in beloved memories.
Christine, thank you for sharing and keeping Josh's memory alive. May he rest in peace or cook up a storm wherever he is.
All the best to you too, you are wonderful! This glimpse into the past has definitely pulled some heartstrings. Josh Marks will forever be remembered in his truest persona, that determined, passionate and gentle giant. No better words to express, but anyhow my dear, XOXO. Josh Marks will forever be remembered in his truest persona, that determined, passionate, gentle giant.
No words to express better…anyhow my dear, XOXO. I remember when you guys were on that season, of course I think the best season , and i sent you a message that you made me cry all the time, and i wasn't gay, not-that-there's-anything wrong-with-that.
You took the time to reply and remarked on the Seinfeld reference. Dave from Buffalo. Christine, in honoring your friend, comrade chef, Josh, you continue to keep his memory alive,,, you do this with a heart full of love,, I believe if there were more people like you in this world it would truly be a better place..
I do know from my heart that mental illness is a very tough problem,,, a huge swing,, a very troubling situation,, times when one feels like there will never be an end to the madness that one goes through while dealing with mental illness. There are so many types of mental illness,, and yes it's a tough one,,, I suffer from constant ,, and constantly look for the good in each day of my life,, I have so many things to be grateful for, 2 grown children, 3 granddaughters that are beautiful young ladies,,, everything to be happy about..
You and Josh were my favorites and I know I was going to be happy whoever won. I have only been a fan and reading what happened to Josh saddens me. Thank you, despite being stranger, for remembering Josh this way.
For remembering the best of him rather than the bad ones. Watching Josh on the show, you could tell he was a special person.
His amazing cooking skill and the way he carried himself in a humbled manor made me a fan. Wish he was still here. Tragic loss. Love both you so. I remembered all of you, special is final round. You looked at him and smile: It's mine, baby. Each story or each competition in MC season 3 became my effort. Josh is a special person.
I'm so sad. Cry for him. Hope him always smile and happy wherever he lives. Even in heaven. Good memory. The funny thing is, when I said those words to him at the finale before we cooked, it was only because I was told to say something about wanting to win, and the smile on my face was really me trying to stifle a giggle because I found it ridiculous for me to say so. Yes, I wanted to win, but in my head, I was really thinking, May the best cook win.
If the title were to have gone to Josh, I would've been disappointed but still happy for him. Josh was clearly a beautiful soul.
I only speculate that he struggled deeply within his own life. Christine you were a loving friend to him and this is an example of how your gifting brings inspiring light to others, especially those that truly need it. It is tragic that a wonderful man was stolen from us but I would say the life and sparkle in you undoubtedly gave him innumerable moments of genuine joy, laughter, and critical escape from the darkness that clouded over him.
For certain, you made a difference. I enjoyed your tribute to Josh and I also appreciated the link to the Chicago magazine article on his life. That really helped fill in the blanks for me, as most of the news coverage I saw last Summer and Fall focused on Josh's encounter with the police and his incoherent references to Gordon Ramsay, which obviously were only a very tiny part of Josh's troubles, and just a sideshow compared to the significant mental illness that was taking over his life.
